Not every Law Week engagement has to be a fullblown “event”. Setting up an interactive or informational display gives yourcommunity the opportunity to absorb legal information in their own time and ina way that suits them.

You can be creative about the way you presentinformation and also use the opportunity to invite your audience to engage withthe material and offer feedback/insights on topics of interest to help withfuture programming.

  • Spot the legal need/Scavenger Hunt.
  • Rental Rights/The law at home.
  • How and Where to Complain (navigating thecomplaints process).
  • Money, Money Money (debt, fines and financialempowerment).
  • Navigating the Maze – Victoria’s Legal System 101.
  • Relationships and family law.

  • An open space/foyer/street-facing window.
  • A legal partner to ensure the legal informationis accurate.
  • Posters, resources, objects, window dressing,etc to make the display “pop”.
  • Then just set and forget.
