This workshop will be presented by a legal expert from Gippsland Community Legal Service and supported by the Gippsland Family Law Pathways Network Information Kiosk.
The session will cover information about how to approach making a will, including an overview of powers of attorney. It will also examine guardianship and administration law, and how these legal mechanisms can be used by family members who are supporting a loved one experiencing a loss of decision‑making capacity.
The session will also include information about insurance or disaster preparedness. Support will be provided by the Gippsland Family Law Pathways Network Information Kiosk, which offers referral pathway information to a range of Gippsland family law and community services.
