This free Wills, Estates and Probate presentation is delivered in partnership with Gippsland Community Legal Service as part of Law Week.
Our organisation is the only community service within a 20‑kilometre radius, supporting a diverse local population that includes seniors, farming communities, families, couples, and individuals. This session has been designed to address legal topics of most relevance to our community and to provide clear, accessible information that empowers people to plan ahead with confidence.
The presentation will cover:
- What it means to be an Executor
- Enduring Powers of Attorney, including the pros and cons
- An overview of Wills, Estates, and Probate in Victoria
The session will provide general legal information in plain language and highlight where to seek further assistance if needed. It is suitable for anyone wanting to better understand these key legal concepts and how they apply in everyday life.
