Event information

Delivered by the Working Women’s Centre, this free and interactive session will explore women’s workplace rights when juggling life and families. The session aims to build awareness, confidence, and knowledge to better understand legal rights and navigate workplace challenges.

Join us to:

  • Understand workplace entitlements including pay, leave and safe working conditions across different types of employment
  • Explore key workplace rights and common workplace issues
  • Learn where to seek help and support if something doesn’t feel right at work
  • Explore how personal challenges, relationships issues and caring responsibilities can impact upon employment, and the protections and supports available in these situations.
  • Unfair dismissal, bullying, discrimination, and sexual harassment — what they look like and what you can do.

Bring your curiosity and questions and chat to a friendly lawyer from the Working Women’s Centre.
