Separation and Family Law: What You Need to Know

This session is for families living in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula region. Parents, caregivers, grandparents, and anyone responsible for children under 18 are welcome to attend if they need guidance on parenting or caregiving arrangements after separation.

Presenters will outline the family law pathway, explain how local Family Relationship Centres can help, and describe what Family Dispute Resolution involves. Participants will also learn about available legal supports and the role of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Following the presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with professionals for individual guidance.
