Event information
To mark Victorian Law Week 2026, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is opening its new venue at 308 La Trobe Street for free 60‑minute guided tours.
The tour is open to everyone, including renters, small business owners, students, community workers, and anyone interested in learning more about VCAT.
Participants will be guided through VCAT’s purpose‑built spaces, including public waiting areas, mediation rooms, hearing rooms, and on‑site support services. The tour will also highlight how First Nations art, culture, and language are incorporated throughout the venue.
VCAT staff will explain what to expect when attending the Tribunal, with each tour concluding with a question‑and‑answer session. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of what it is like to come to VCAT and how the new venue has been designed to make the process feel easier.
Participants will learn what to expect when attending a hearing, mediation, or support service, how the new venue supports access to VCAT services, how First Nations elements are integrated into the space, and where to find further help and information about VCAT processes.
