The launch of the Court of Appeal (CoA) Learning Program marks the introduction of a new educational initiative aimed at improving understanding of the Court’s work. The event will outline the purpose of the program, explain how it operates, and demonstrate how it can be accessed and used.
This session provides an overview of the Court of Appeal Online Learning Program, a new initiative from the Supreme Court of Victoria designed to enhance understanding of the work of the Court of Appeal.
The self-guided program offers access to a range of resources that explore the role and work of the Court of Appeal, including:
- insights into the appeals process
- opportunities to watch hearings via livestream
- behind-the-scenes perspectives from judges and Court staff
The session is intended for Court Services Victoria judicial officers and staff, members of the legal profession, legal and education stakeholders, university students, and the broader community.
Attendees will learn how the program supports legal education and promotes public engagement with the Court of Appeal and its role within the Supreme Court of Victoria.
