Victorian Law Week is not a legal conference, careers expo or a ‘legal industry thing’ – it’s for everyday Victorians. Victorians need access to vital information about their legal rights and responsibilities. It’s a state-wide program of events that help people to identify the law in common problems, understand their rights, find legal help and learn more about the law.
From 15 – 21 May there are in-person and online events happening across the state, including webinars, information sessions, free legal advice, and plenty more to inform, assist and entertain you, wherever you may be.
Events are run by a range of organisations, including community legal centres, government bodies, community organisations, law firms, courts and tribunals – and many more.
