The Neighbourhood Justice Centre (NJC) is Australia’s first community justice centre, located in the City of Yarra in Victoria. The NJC is part of a global network of community justice centres working to make communities with high levels of crime safer and stronger, and to improve our justice system.
We are an International Mentor Court for Community Justice, and part of our role is to share our work and practices with justice reformers, policy makers, other courts, community services and the public.
Over the last 3 years we have developed a range of online public lectures, “The Speaker Series”, exploring community justice and the NJC model.
