This interactive webinar will help participants feel empowered to plan ahead for an older age that is right for them, and overcome challenges associated with discussing ageing and end-of-life plans, using Justice Connect’s Conversation Guide. The session is designed to encourage planning for older age in a way that is safe and unintimidating.
During this session, co-facilitators Anna Smith (Justice Connect) and Claire Thurstans (Eastern Community Legal Centre) will lead participants through a series of questions on topics such as everyday life, finances and end-of-life healthcare.
This session aims to help participants work out:
- What is most important to them in their older age;
- What they want life to be like in their older age; and
- Who they would trust to make decisions if they couldn’t make decisions anymore.
It will include a brief outline of future planning legal documents and a Q&A with the audience at the end.
