Victoria’s portable long service scheme means workers in in the following industries can now transfer long service leave entitlements from one employer to another:
- community services
- contract cleaning
- security
The Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme allows eligible workers to build up long service entitlements based on time spent in the industry, rather than with a single employer.
