Planning ahead for seniors

Learn about Enduring Powers of Attorney, Supportive Attorney, and Medical Decision Making. Participants can identify their preferences for an Advanced Care Directive and suitable appointees. Presented by Seniors Rights Victoria.

Life presents many different circumstances. As people age it’s important to ensure that they have planned to cover future circumstances. The free Planning Ahead for Seniors session presents information in a simple and interactive way on Enduring Powers of Attorney, Supportive Attorney and Medical Decision Making.

During the session, participants have the opportunity to identify their preferred choices for an Advanced Care Directive and consider who might be the most suitable person to appoint as an attorney or Medical Decision Maker.

The “Take Control” and “Your Voice - Trust Your Choice” booklets will be available at the session as well as other printed resources.

This session will be presented by a representative from Seniors Rights Victoria.
