Justices of the Peace were appointed in Victoria from the very early days of the colony. In 2022, there are 98 Document Signing Stations throughout the state, manned by Honorary Justices, all qualified women and men who voluntarily serve their communities.
Did you know that a Justice of the Peace can witness many different types of documents including:
- Statutory Declarations
- Affidavits
- Powers of Attorney
- Notice of Intent to Marry
- Wills
- Certified Copies of original documents
- Medical Treatment Decision Maker appointments
Join us for the online event or find your nearest Document Signing Station by accessing either the Royal Victorian Association of Justices of the Peace or Department of Justice websites and searching via your post code.
This service is free and is available in person with Justice of the Peace: Angelo Auciello. No Booking required.
